Notice Regarding Closure ofOta City Children’s Weekday Nighttime Emergency Room This is a notice regarding the “Children’s Weekday Nighttime Emergency Room” which offers medical care on Weekday evenings at Toho University Omori Medical Center. With the rapid increase of coronavirus patients, there is a risk of it spreading to citizens who use our facilities. It has also become difficult to secure medical practitioners. For these reasons, it has been decided that the Children’s Weekday Nighttime Emergency Room shall be closed for the time being.  Closure Information The following clinic shall be closed as of April 20, 2020 (Monday) until further notice.
  • Place: Toho University Omori Medical Center, Building 3, 1F
  • Time: Weekdays from 8pm – 11pm (Reception from 7:45pm to 10:45pm)
  • Target: 3 months old – 3rd grade in junior high school
CAUTION: If used during the closed period, it will be treated as being medical treatment offered by the hospital and you will thus be charged a medical treatment fee / “sentei ryoyohi” of 8,000 yen (including tax). Such medical expenses are not covered by Ota City’s medical expense subsidy.  If you are troubled with your child being suddenly very ill,and you have deemed the situation to be urgent, please ring 119 without hesitation!If you are unsure whether or not to call an ambulance,please consult with the Tokyo Fire Department Emergency Consultation Center.
